    #1 Chinese Food doesn't really live up to its own hype as being the best...but if you're looking for an affordable meal with pretty good flavor, then give them a shot.

    I've only tried the carryout, though they do offer dine-in.

    The menu itself is large - over 100 entrees and dishes ranging from traditional sweet & sours to Moo Shu and Szechuan offerings.  A staple order for my family - chicken fried rice - was a bit disappointing, but the Sesame Chicken did make up for the lack of flavor in the fried rice.  The egg rolls were quite tasty, but VERY greasy.

    The portion sizes seem much larger than what you'd get at a typical Chinese takeout establishment.  Our standard order here yielded a ton more leftovers than orders from other places.  

    The prices were low for what you get.  In today's economy, I can see #1 Chinese Food stealing a lot of business - simply because of their prices.  Lunch special entress come with an egg roll or soup for just $4.75.  Lunch Buffet  is $5.55 with Diner Buffet coming in at $6.95 - making a trip out with the family very affordable.

    Was it the best I've ever had?  Far from it.  However, the good prices, portion sizes and large variety of options will keep #1 Chinese Food in my carryout rotation.

    If I could rate it lower I would terrible food ate about 3 bites and pitched it.
